Long Branch Farms

This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website or contact us. Long Branch Farms is a family farm at 120 Long Branch Drive, Leitchfield, KY 42754. Two of us run it. There's no marketing department here and no list we're building.

What we collect

The only information this website collects is what you type into our contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number, if you choose to give it — that field is optional
• What you're interested in (beef, pork, bundles, eggs, or a general question)
• Your message

That's the whole list. We don't ask for a mailing address, a birthday, or payment details on this site, and there's no account to create.

How the contact form works

Our contact form is handled by Web3Forms, a third-party service that takes your submission and relays it to our farm email inbox. Your message passes through their systems on the way to us. You can read how they handle it in the Web3Forms privacy policy.

Once it reaches us, your message sits in our email account like any other email. We read it, we reply, and we keep it as long as it's useful for serving you — so we can look up your last order when you come back next season, for instance. If you'd rather we didn't keep it, say so and we'll delete it.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. There's no analytics software, no advertising pixel, and no tracking of any kind. We don't know who visits this site or how often.

There is one outside request every page makes: it loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To send those font files to your browser, Google receives your IP address. We never see it, and Google tells us nothing about your visit. We mention it because it's the only third-party connection on the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your contact information. We don't hand it to marketers, data brokers, or anyone else looking for a list.

The only time your information goes anywhere is when it's needed to get you your order — giving your name to the licensed processor handling your bulk beef or pork, for example, or confirming a delivery time. We would also turn over information if the law required it.

Seeing or deleting your information

Ask and we'll tell you what we have, or delete it. Text is the fastest way to reach us:

We handle these ourselves, usually within a few days. Deleting your information means we lose the record of what you've ordered before, so let us know if that matters to you.

Children

This site is meant for people buying food for their households. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something through the form, contact us and we'll delete it.

Keeping it safe

Your messages live in a password-protected email account and nowhere else. We can't promise email is perfectly secure — nobody honestly can — so please don't send anything sensitive like card numbers or account details through the form.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site or the form works, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. There's no mailing list to notify you with, so if this matters to you, check back now and then.
